Abby Pollock is a 23-year-old woman living in Toronto who loves to show off her healthy body after recovering from years of dealing with eating disorders. Abby used to be 20 pounds underweight with symptoms of anorexia and bulimia. She used to eat under 1000 calories a day using the excuse of going on a raw vegan diet to justify it.
When interviewed by Cosmopolitan she said “I told myself I was following these diets for ethical reasons, when really I was using them as a means to further restrict and cover up my disordered habits.”
After getting the help she needed Abby has never been healthier, after posting her progression pics on the internet she gained fame overnight.

Abby finally reached out to professional nutritionists for help and has bounced back in an amazing way. They started increasing her diet to 2000 calories a day and then got her going to the gym. She transformed so much that she even started rocking a butt that rivals Kim Kardashian’s.
As I sit here contemplating the week ahead, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of happiness🙃. Last week I got a pretty serious wake up call. My living arrangements will be up in the air as of September and I have no idea how I’m going to bridge the income gap I need to live the lifestyle I want. Somehow I 100% okay with this though. – I go through cycles of feeling dissatisfied and putting immense amounts of pressure on myself to be MORE, working very hard, achieving, then enjoying temporary satisfaction like I am now. It’s stressful and it’s probably quite unnecessary, but this is me. I want to learn more, experience more, and achieve more so that ultimately I can be MORE. – I used to be bitter about my wealthier friends who didn’t have to pay their rent, tuition, or worry if their career plans failed. I used to avoid uncertainty and instability like my life depended on it. But ever since I graduated and took this leap of faith toward entrepreneurship, I’ve gradually become more and more open to the risk. I’ve built a confidence and set of values that while not infallible, seem to always point me in the direction of my vision. I’ve spent long enough hibernating. This is a season of growth and I am ready to conquer it🔥⚡️.
Her diet has her fasting for most of the day but she is still able to eat 2000 calories worth of whatever she wants, as long as it isn’t processed. She has cut down on cardio and is doing a lot more weightlifting. She now posts progression pics on Instagram hoping to inspire other people suffering from eating disorders and show them that there’s a way to bounce back into a healthy lifestyle.

FB LIVE STREAM 8:00PM EST (join link in bio): The 4 BIGGEST Mistakes Made By Beginners. . One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see women make is that they’re not eating enough. Eating 1000 calories a day took constant willpower. I had to constantly plan and re-plan what I was eating so I didn’t accidentally go over or eat a food that was “off-limits”. Aside from the fact that I was physically drained from eating so little, I was mentally drained from obsessing over such a trivial part of my life. Eating 1700 calories a day (pic on the right) was how much I was eating on a HEALTHY DIET. On the right I was leaning out for a bodybuilding competition and was still losing weight + reaching a low body fat while eating this many calories a day 🍎👏. . What I want you to pay attention to here is: (1) how I’m carrying myself and (2) the difference between bone vs. muscle. (1) On the left, my shoulders are hunched, my back is to the camera and based on memory, I know I was NOT smiling. On the right, my shoulders are back, chest up, and I’m SMILING proud 🤗. (2) On the left, I have “shape” only because I’m so thin that you can see my bones. Had the lighting been different, you would have seen my full rib cage. On the right, I am lean but strong, shapely and sculpted 💪! . If you want shape / tone / or that tight sculpted bikini look, you will not get it by starving yourself. Nothing good will come from starving yourself. By not eating enough calories, you starving your body and mind, ultimately sabotaging your own progress. Sorry not sorry for the rant.
